Contact questions photography’s potential to convey sensory experience to the viewer. These photographs, focusing on the body in sensory surroundings, experiment with perspective and perception. I seek to challenge conventional representations of landscape, which are controlled by a powerful vertical figure in a horizontal space. Instead of adopting the traditional distant view,  I frame intimate points of contact between the body and space.
